About us: who runs BestCryptoCasinosAzerbaijan and how the rating works
The site
A rating and a set of guides, not a casino. Here is who writes them, where the facts come from, how every star is earned and how the site is funded.
BestCryptoCasinosAzerbaijan started with a simple question from players in Baku: “Which crypto casinos can I actually use, and what happens when I want my money back?”. The best crypto casinos Azerbaijan rating is our answer — thirty casinos, one clear formula, in English, Azerbaijani and Russian.
Who writes the site
The rating and guides are written by Rauf Aliyev, a Baku-based writer on payments and crypto, with a small editorial team. When a fact comes from our own experience with real money, we say so. When it comes from a document, we name the document or the clause.
How the stars are calculated
Every casino starts at zero and earns points for facts it publishes:
| Fact | Points |
|---|---|
| Licence found in the issuer's register and active or valid | 1.5 |
| Licence named but not confirmed as active | 0.5 |
| Written verification rule in the terms | 1 |
| A specific amount or trigger for verification | 0.5 |
| A published list of restricted countries | 0.5 |
| Eight or more accepted coins | 0.5 |
| Forty or more game providers | 0.5 |
| Wide product range (casino, live, sports, originals) | 0.5 |
| Used by us with our own money | 0.5 |
The total is capped at 5 and rounded to the nearest half star. Bonus size, advertising and commissions add nothing.
Examples. Bitcasino.io earns 4.5: an active licence matching its domain, a verification rule with an amount, a restricted list, many providers and a wide product range. Roobet earns 1, because we could not confirm licence details or verification rules in our library, even though it is a popular brand.
Why Vave is first
It holds first place by agreement and is clearly marked as Partner — never hidden among the scored casinos. Separately from the partnership, Vave is one of two casinos where we used our own money: we deposited, played and withdrew, and the payout came without a document request. The other is TrustDice, where we opened an account and deposited to describe the steps.
Where the facts come from
- Casino terms and conditions, in the version published at the time of reading.
- Licence registers of the issuing authorities, such as the Curaçao Gaming Authority and Anjouan.
- Casino cashiers and lobbies, for coins, networks and games.
- Promotions pages, for welcome bonuses.
- Exchange screens, for P2P buying and selling with manat.
Who is not in the rating
Casinos that list Azerbaijan among restricted countries — for example Mirax, Oshi and PlayAmo — are left out. A player should not open an account where the casino does not accept them, and we do not explain ways around such restrictions.
How the site is funded
The site may earn a commission when a reader opens an account through the button on these pages. Exchanges we mention have no commercial relationship with us.
What we do not do
- We hold no funds and exchange no currency.
- We do not promise payout speeds.
- We publish no promo codes we cannot confirm.
- We ask readers for no personal data.
- We never suggest hiding your location or using someone else's documents.
Corrections and updates
We reread terms, registers and promotions every month. If a casino changes a clause, loses or renews a licence, or changes its bonus, the stars and the text change at the next review. For practical guides, start with from manat to crypto and no KYC casinos.
